Where Seattle’s social scene meets its competitive streak...

This month’s Seattle Last Tuesday Happy Hour brings us to Art Marble 21... a South Lake Union staple where games, good company, and community all come together under one roof. As we wrap our fall campaign and gear up for what’s ahead, we’re highlighting the local venues that help make connection in Seattle feel easy.... even on a Tuesday.
We caught up with Lexie Pentin, Events Director at Art Marble 21, to talk about the vibe, the values, and what keeps this spot at the top of Seattle’s social scene.
YPCSeattle Happy Hour at Art Marble 21: Fun Facts
Event: October Happy Hour [RSVP]
Location: Art Marble 21 (South Lake Union) [@artmarble21]
Vibe: Playful, relaxed, and social - think ping pong, pool, and pints
Known for: Free games, generous pours, and the best prices in town
Why We Chose It: Because nothing brings people together quite like friendly competition (and free pool tables).
How would you describe the overall vibe and experience at Art Marble 21?
Lexie Pentin: Art Marble 21 is a great place to meet up with friends and play some games. It’s very much a hangout vibe. We boast a 3,500 sq. ft. game room with free pool, ping pong, air hockey, darts, and more. With the best prices in Seattle and free games, we feel our value is unmatched as the best hangout spot in town.
What role do you think bars and restaurants play in fostering connection and belonging in a city?
Lexie: It means we’re more than a hotel—we’re a third place, a trusted backdrop for everything from first dates to final toasts. Whether you’re a neighborhood regular popping in for happy hour or a visiting guest discovering the city for the first time, the Sorrento is where stories unfold. That sense of belonging is what drives us: we’re here to serve, connect, and celebrate with the community we love.

If you could see more of one thing in the restaurant industry, what would it be?
Lexie: Customer service. Folks that work in hospitality sometimes forget that a tip is earned, not required. Being kind is so easy to do, and Art Marble 21 exhibits that simple kindness. People like to be treated fairly and politely—as they should. Customer service needs to be a central focus of all bars and restaurants.
How do you hope people feel when they walk into Art Marble 21?
Lexie: It has been our goal from the beginning to create an atmosphere where people feel welcome.
