Volunteer Day | Seafair 4th of July

Celebrate the 4th of July and make a difference!! We will be volunteering in the beer gardens in Gas Works Park and  Lake Union Park for the Seafair 4th of July fireworks show! We're using this as a chance for community members - who are both, looking for something to do and who want to connect with the Seattle community - to work alongside the YPCSeattle team.

Volunteers will be handing out drinks, processing transactions, and doing a little setup and cleanup. In exchange for your time, all volunteers will be given a free ticket to the Seafair 4th of July, and 2 free tickets to Seafair Weekend (Apollo Mechanical Hydroplane Races, Boeing Airshow, Classic Car Show, etc).

During your shift you will have the chance to take a break and walk around the park and your shift will end before the fireworks begin, so you can enjoy them!

Must be 21+ to volunteer.

About the Seafair 4th of July:

The Seafair 4th of July is the best way to experience Independence Day in the Pacific Northwest. Voted one of the nation’s best fireworks shows by USA TODAY and Business Insider, Seafair 4th of July  takes place on Lake Union in one of the best natural amphitheaters to experience the power and artistry of fireworks. Summer Fourth features a fully choreographed fireworks presentation accompanied by a musical score and a host of pre-show activities including live music, games, entertainment, food, and beer gardens. 

Thanks to the generosity of Seafair, all tips collected at the beer gardens will be donated to YPCommunities!
