PACE (Pan African Center for Empowerment) and its downtown cultural hub, The Union, have announced its full program for the Seattle Juneteenth CommUnity Celebration, a family-friendly festival honoring Black economic freedom and innovation in downtown Seattle. Centered on Second Avenue’s 1201 Third Plaza, the celebration blends the electric energy of an HBCU homecoming with Seattle’s creative spirit through live music, vendor marketplace, kid-powered sports clinics, tournament games, and a libation zone featuring black owned coffee, beer, and spirits brands.
This year also marks two major milestones: PACE’s 10th anniversary and The Union’s 7th year of service. During the event, PACE will unveil plans to expand The Union with a new Artist & Maker Lab and launch a capital campaign to fuel the next decade of Black innovation in Seattle.
