The YPOSeattle Last Tuesday Happy Hour is digital! Throw on a shirt, turn on your laptop camera, grab your favorite drink and join us.

Our new, virtual Happy Hour will have 3 different topic oriented rooms (you choose your topic at registration) + a cocktail making class to kick things off. Thank you to our partners Altos, and Jameson!

So reserve your spot, purchase a box (if you so choose) and we'll see you on at the end of the month!

THE HAPPY HOUR SCHEDULE:

** 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM | Sign in and Network **

** 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM | Guided Cocktail Making Class ** 

We kick off our happy hour with a guided cocktail making class by our Seattle based brand ambassador, Stephanie Olsen.

Each month, you'll have the option of purchasing a cocktail kit - including alcohol, mixers, and a bunch of brand swag - ahead of the event. When the happy hour starts, Stephanie will guide us through constructing your custom drink (in an informative session), that you'll take with you to your selected breakout room.

** 6:45 PM - 7:45 PM | Breakout Sessions **

Room #1 - Casual Networking: The Casual Networking Room is EXACTLY what you think it is! It's the most casual, laid back version of networking that can be had in a virtual world. This month, we're hosting a virtual game and will be keeping it light, fun, and competitive.  Get ready to have a fun time!

Room #2 - Career Connect: Think of the Career Connect Room like a virtual jobs fair, where you get to have a casual conversation with your peers, a career coach and a hiring manager or recruiter from a company looking to fill roles while picking up tips and tricks to stand out when applying for a position.  You can do this, all while having a drink, and nobody will judge!

Room #3 - Current Events:  The topic for this month's Current Events Room is Who & What is on Your Ballot.  Unsure on how to vote in the upcoming election? Join YP Impact for a non-partisan discussion of the candidates and measures on the ballot. Ask questions, discuss the candidates and issues, and share research and resources so you can best decide how to vote.

Each month, the Current Events room will leverage a digital resource as a tool to help carry the conversation. This month we will be providing a few. We will be screening the episodes 2 and 3 of Netflix’s “Whose Vote Count Explained” on October 19 for those who would like to watch it ahead of time in a group setting. In addition, we will be providing links to candidate’s videos, debates, and voter pamphlets to help people prepare for the discussion or decide on how to vote. Note: You do not need to watch the film or look at any of the resources provided to participate in the happy hour discussion.YP Impact will be streaming the documentary on Monday, September 21st, for those who’d like to watch ahead of time in a group setting. Join us then, or watch it on your own.

ABOUT LAST TUESDAY

Launched back in 2011, Last Tuesday is a casual networking happy hour event (no name tags, no sales pitches, no judgment) that falls on the last Tuesday of every month.

Pre-Covid, the YPOSeattle events team would pick various venues throughout the city to host 200 or so of Seattle’s best, in an effort to better connect the most ambitious and motivated individuals in the community. Think of this as an intro to networking, or a laid back way for the power networker, the job seeker, recruiter or business owner to meet and interact with hundreds of other young professionals.

Well, the world is different now. Your health and safety are our priority so virtual is our new reality. So we changed things around to accommodate for the new landscape while maintaining our signature YPOSeattle happy hour style
