Last Tuesday - July | a (Virtual) YPOSeattle Happy Hour

For the past 9 years our Last Tuesday Happy Hours events have been a Seattle staple; an in-person event we enjoyed hosting each month that featured 150+ of the most important people in the community: YOU!  

Well, the world is different now. Your health and safety is our priority so virtual is our new reality. So we changed things around to accommodate for the new landscape while maintaining our signature YPOSeattle happy hour style (see below). 

Our new, virtual, Happy Hour will 3 have different topic oriented rooms (you choose your topic at registration) + a cocktail making class to kick things off. 

note: you can purchase a Cocktail Making Box ahead of time, thanks to our partners Zeacon and Jameson Whiskey, with a portion of proceed benefiting the: Bartenders Emergency Assistance Program.

So reserve your spot, purchase a box (if you so choose) and we'll see you on July 28th at 5:30pm!

The Happy Hour Schedule:

5:30PM - 6:15PM | Casual Networking & Cocktail Making Class 

You have the opportunity to create a couple of cocktails with one of our favorites brands: Jameson. This warm up session will feature an instructor, instructions and of course, other like-minded professionals! 

For those who purchase, your Cocktail Making Box will include: Jameson, lime/lemon, ginger beer, Jameson swag (get pumped it’s some pretty cool stuff) and digital discounts from a few community partners (sent directly to your inbox).

6:15PM - 7:15PM | Breakout Sessions 

Room #1: Career Dev / Jobs Connector:

Think of the Job Connector room like a virtual jobs fair, where you get to have a casual conversation with a career coach, a hiring manager or recruiter from a company looking to fill roles and your peers while picking up tips and tricks to stand out when applying for a position.

Room #2 Current Events: (this month’s topic is Racial Discrimination)

Each month, the Current Events room will leverage a digital resource as a tool to help carry the conversation. This month’s conversation resource is the Netflix Documentary: 13th.

YPOx will be streaming the documentary on Monday, July 27th, for those who’d like to watch ahead of time in a group setting. Join us then, or watch it on your own.

Note: You don’t need to watch the movie to participate in the discussion.

Room #3 Game Room:

Connect with others in a casual and fun setting. The Game Room will feature three games. This months games include:

• Never Have I Ever 
• Drawful2 (Jackbox.tv) 
• CodeNames 

We have planned for each game to last 15-20 minutes, however if participants get really excited about a particular game and want to continue beyond that there is some flexibility.

7:00PM - Whenever | Casual Networking 

We will all reconvene in the “main” room for some more digitally awesome networking!  Feel free to check out whenever you like but don't forget to drop a link in chat to your LinkedIn profile before you leave.

Launched back in 2011, Last Tuesday is a casual networking happy hour event (no name tags, no sales pitches, no judgment) that falls on the last Tuesday of every month.
