About the Event

Join us for an inspiring evening co-hosted by YPC-Seattle, United Way of King County’s Emerging Leaders 365, Seattle Metro Chamber’s Young Professionals Network (YPN), and Young Nonprofit Professionals Network (YNPN). This event will feature insightful discussions with local and civic leaders about the critical role of voting, the significance of local elections, and key issues on the ballot.  You'll also have access to valuable resources from various organizations, offering guidance on how to deepen your community engagement, effectively communicate with your legislators, and manage mental health before, during, and after an election. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, connect, and make a difference!

About LANGSTON Seattle:

LANGSTON Seattle is a 501(c)(3) non-profit arts organization, founded in 2016 with the purpose of spearheading programs at the historic Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute. We lead innovative programs and foster community partnerships that center Black art, artists, and audiences while honoring the enduring legacy of Seattle’s Black Central Area. Our wide-ranging programs span multiple disciplines, all firmly rooted in our unwavering mission and values.  

We prioritize hosting safe, inclusive and healthy environments and intend to do what we can to make sure you and your fellow Community Members can enjoy themself in a settings free from judgement, discrimination or harassment.
