Join this interactive session with our special guest Shomari Jones, Director of Equity and Engagement for Bellevue Schools and Gordon McHenry, Jr., President and CEO of United Way of King County. From hurdles to high-fives, they’ll explore aspects shaping the future of education equity.

Shomari hails from a community and school system that’s predominantly Black. Now a leader of equity initiatives in an affluent school district where Black, Latino, and Indigenous students make up a very small percentage of the population, Shomari will guide this conversation.
