Career Fair & Juneteenth Celebration

The Pathway Project, King County Justice Alliance and YPCommunities are teaming up for Juneteenth to bring you the Reclaiming our Greatness Tournament! This extraordinary event harnesses the power of music, spoken word, and sports to promote access to and empower diverse talent within the corporate world. 

Rooted in the rich heritage of African American culture, this Juneteenth celebration aims to reclaim greatness by fostering courage, determination, strength, resilience, and knowledge within our community. Through this dynamic platform, we unite people from all backgrounds, celebrating diversity and igniting positive change.

The Reclaiming our Greatness Juneteenth Celebration will feature basketball and volleyball competitions, bringing together individuals from various companies to engage in friendly yet competitive matches. The event catalyzes fostering connections, networking opportunities, and collaboration among professionals by intertwining the thrill of sports with the spirit of unity. It creates a unique space where companies can discover and embrace our community's immense talent and potential.

Reclaiming our Greatness Tournament is a family-friendly affair that caters to all ages. There will be a wide array of engaging activities for children, including face painting, interactive art projects, balloon animals, and more. This ensures that everyone can partake in the festivities and create lasting memories.

Furthermore, the celebration will shine a spotlight on the brilliance of black-owned businesses. With a dedicated space for 50 black-owned businesses - including food options. Attendees can explore and support various entrepreneurial ventures.
