About Your Guest:
Eddie Mazariegos is the Founder of Future Gen, a company focused on building solutions that make career exploration easy for Gen Z high schoolers. At Future Gen, they are obsessed with one question - What do you want to do in the future? Behind the Future Gen Mission and Eddie's Professional Snapshot: I come from an immigrant family and am a first-generation college grad. Before starting Future Gen, I was doing some boring things as a M&A Management Consultant that flew across the country seeing one hotel at a time. However, I found my passion whenever I had an opportunity to build mentorship or company culture programs. After doing this 5+ times in high school, college, and Hyundai from scratch, I decided to put my 100% effort into this space. Through my own career exploration journey, I have done the following: attended Harvard for a Medical Apprenticeship Program, been mentored for investment banking opportunities through Latinos in Finance by an MD from Morgan Stanley, designed and implemented projects involving 1,000+ stakeholders across North America for Hyundai, identified $250M+ in savings across nearly 30 M&A deals, and became an Eagle Scout. I strive to learn more about what brings the world together with the purpose of helping as many people as possible. I believe people do not lack passion or drive, but guidance can go a long way. Much can be achieved through common ground - feel free to reach out for any reason and let's build the future together. Currently considering launching a podcast focused around the Gen Z High School Experience.
