I think it's pretty cool (and convenient) that the pedestrian path around Lake Union is a 10K. It's also pretty cool that the official annual race along the route draws thousands of participants each year and benefits local radio station KEXP, where DJ John Richards actively shares his passion for running (have you listened to the Runcast?).
South Lake Union park makes for the ideal start and endpoint, with great green space for stretching and lounging and easy water access if you want to cool off with a dip after the run. by Shannon Lubetich
